Since micronutrient competition is important to keep in mind when formulating the best liquid multivitamin, and iron can interfere with the body's absorption of other vitamins and minerals, we decided to not include iron in our liquid multivitamins. For those who would like to supplement with iron, we have a stand-alone Liquid Iron supplement in a delicious berry flavor!

Q: Why is there no daily value for Vitamin K on the supplement fact panel?

A: The preamble to the proposed rule noted that there are three general forms of vitamin K: Phylloquinone (vitamin K1), menaquinone (vitamin K2), and menadione (vitamin K3) (id.). For labeling purposes, there is no specific definition for vitamin K and the AI for vitamin K is based on the intake of phylloquinone, the major form of vitamin K in the diet. A: When formulating our liquid multivitamins, we wanted to make a multivitamin that had the best possible combination of micronutrients for optimal absorption. Since micronutrient competition is important to keep in mind when formulating the best liquid multivitamin, and iron can interfere with the body's absorption of other vitamins and minerals, we decided to not include iron in our liquid multivitamins. A: Our Kids Liquid Nighttime Multimineral was formulated for ages 1 and up. The suggested use for ages 1-3 is ½ teaspoon, and for ages 4-12 is 1 tablespoon.
